    250R bore size

    Hello Guys,

I recently tore apart my '82 250R to find out that the piston was missing some pieces and made a grove in the cylinder wall. So i bought a new .040 over piston for it but would anybody know the clearance for that? I don't have a book for this and figured someone would know this information.

    Thanks Matt

If I remember right what you need to do is bore the cylinder at .002 to .003 over what the size of the piston is.
