Heres a 2003 Honda 400 EX that I bought today from the original owner who was in a cash crisis. Totally stock, 2 helmets, 2 cans of chain wax, can of filter oil, and some other misc. stuff. All original paperwork and service records. Less than 20 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice quad and looks like you got a steal for it. I just got an 06 KFX 400 for $4800 and I love it. The KFX and 400ex are great sports quads. The yellow is my favorite color on the 400ex's.

I actually prefer red for the color, but for the price, heck, it could have been purple for the $ and what kinda shape it's in!!!!!! And I still would have bought it!!!!!!!!

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I think I did pretty well. I am certainly happy with it. IT has been raining here since I bought it, so I have not ridden it yet! Wouldn't you know it???? We have not had rain in MONTHS!!!! I buy a new quad and if I wanna ride, it's gotta be in the rain. Oh well. Maybe today after work.

nice score...my friend just picked up an 03 400ex eith a pipe, filter and bars. not as clean as that one but close for 1800

That's what I really like about this one- ALL STOCK. The original owner is a friend/riding buddy of mine and always pampers his bikes. It is easy to find one that's modded out, but an all stock one is a rare as hen's teeth.
