my point ! put it in a lite weight chassis and you have a trike capable of going 150-160 mph i would think.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.![]()
GIT IT RAAAGGGGG !!!!
Wow my Rf900R is only making 120 horsepower and thats a street bike. That thing must be insane considering its a cruiser.
2000 Rm250
1985 IT200
2003 suzuki sv1000s
2008 polaris outlaw 525s
my buddy has a kowasaki ltd 750 and it has allot of nuts. it will wheelie pretty easy.

GIT IT RAAAGGGGG !!!!
yea rob i kno im impatient right now (srry mike ) lol
yea they are fast bikes man, I used to have that bikes little brother, the v45 and that had some good power, I always wanted to ride the v65 tho
130HP? yeah at the crank not rearwheel hp. more like 100rearwheel hp. personaly i would stuff a snappy 600cc inline 4 in a trike if i had the money. i know my fzr600 has good bottem end. fasted i ever went was 155. i dont know what that would feel like on 3 wheels but on 2 its pretty fast.
uhh dude its RWH!
The power would be insane!
My only concern would be parts ( at least aftermarket performance on the motor) and the size of the motor in the frame lol I know there will be some stretching involved for a trike fit.. I know it can be done, the old sansation videos ( If anybody knows those lol) have a guy with a street bike motor in a trike/ conversion and man that sucker freaking rips! Looks insane!
Any of you guys know those motors well enough for size and parts really?
that bike has more parts available than most trikes!
didnt the sabre and magna use the same 1100cc motor? if so its only 105Bhp at 9500rpms. like isaid maybe 130 at the crank but your getting that much at the real wheel. i looked up info in old cycle tests for real numbers to challenge your (like numbers) ill agree its fast, just post accurate data.....

"The V45 Sabre was introduced in 1982. It shared its V4 engine design with the Magna and Interceptor. The engines in the Sabre and Magna were so similar as to be interchangeable".
"The 1100 cc "V65" engine, which was introduced in 1983, produced 118 hp"

i just love how people make up HP numbers the the real dynos and info on them don't lie.
WELL honda says this.. http://powersports.honda.com/the_sto...PrevPageTitle=
Until then, Japanese high-performance was defined by inline fours. Honda did offer V-4 400s for the Japanese market in 1982, but the V65s raised the performance bar with a broad torque range combined with a serious top-end rush. Four valves per cylinder, relatively mild cams, an efficient induction system with straight-shot intake tracts, clean-burning combustion chambers and a quartet of 36mm constant-velocity carbs gave the V65 Sabre its most powerful production motorcycle engine available. Pumping out a walloping 121 horsepower, the mighty Sabre could launch from a standstill to 50 miles per hour in just 2.31 seconds!
