Man your lucky, When I had a little bit of piston break on my TRX it wedged between the piston and bore and then twisted the crank apart. That sucked and put my bike out for a while. I hope it never happens to my trike.

    Yo syko,

Remember our last ride (not Easter) where I was behind you and was seeing sparks coming out of the exhaust, could that have been the missing parts off of the piston skirt????

What really sucks is when the skirt lodges between the outer lobes and the bottom of the crankcase. The rotating crank grabs the thin skirt and attempts to roll it through the tight area between the two. When this happens the bottom of crankcase usually ands up cracking or blowing through. I've seen this happen and it's devastating. A lot of people don't realize how thin the metal is in this area, and it has no real strength when pushed out. Yep, you got lucky
