    carb spits flames help me

well exactly what the title says. the carb is spitting flames and the exhaust is spewing gas. it ran perfect yesterday but today it did nothing but spit flames and spew fuel out the exhaust. could it be a timing issue or something different ?

Pull the carb apart, and clean 'er up, especially the inlet needle and seat.
Sounds like it's getting too much fuel to the carb.
You mighta got some dirt somehow, and the inlet needle isn't seating fully, allowing the carb to flood.

so its definitely carb issues ? i kinda thought so. but if the float was stuck wouldnt it go out the overflow ?

That depends on how high the fuel level is in the carb.
Your tubes might be plugged up, not allowing the excess to come out.
Try running it for a bit with the fuel shut off.
If it starts to clean up after a minute or so, and quits shooting flames, it's a flooding issue in the carb.

fuel cap not venting could also cause it. but judging by it backfiring through the carb, you may want to check your timing and flywheel key.

Good point....I guess it could have sheared a key.
He mentioned that it was spewing gas out the exhaust.
That kinda led me to think flooding, but yea, I guess it could be a sheared flywheel key, too.

ok it ran perfect the day before yesterday but today and yesterday we couldnt get it to fire. well lol we had a fire the whole front end went up because the gas flowing out of the exhaust cought on fire somehow . so needless to say i think this thing is pretty well had it. my brother isnt happy either. he just spent over 700.00 on it on sleez bay. the guy said but a battery in and go lol ha ha ha. yea rite. well anyways im going to be asking allot of questions in the quad threads.
