200x gasket kit and internals ?s

Hey... My dad's 86 200x died today... locked it up... the drive gear went up between the ?clutch gear? and something else and the chain got stuck between 2 drive gears... only thing that was VISIBLY damaged was the oil drive chain, oil pump, and the oilpump gear... anything we should check for damage??? anything else that would be a VERY GOOD idea to replace because it may have been weakened by this incident???

Whats the difference between the Pro-x Piston and the Wiseco Piston that Dennis Kirk offers???? Any advantages??? Downsides??? Are the rings from either piston identical or can be substituted on the stock piston???

Also, what does the Vesrah Complete Gasket Kit come with??? does it come with the side cover gaskets??? what seals does it have??? thanks for any/all help

EDIT: on a side note, how hard is it to install new seals/boots in front forks on an 86 200x???

A friend of mine had this same problem. He had to replace the cam, rockers, and such. This was because the top end was starved for oil. On his we found out the one metal plate down by the oil pump had been removed and lost ( before he got the machine ). I would check the top end to be sure you don't have any damage.

I have not bought a 86 200x kit but all the other Versa kits I have bought have come with valve seals, all o-rings, and all gaskets (provided you get the full kit not the top end kit). They do not come with the press in oil seals (kick start shaft seal, shifter shaft seal, ect.)

hey... did your kit come with gaskets like the side cover gaskets??? because were ordering those gaskets off service honda cause we thought it wouldn't come with them...

Yes, as long as you order the full kit not the top end one. It comes with all the gaskets you need.
