Hey Oldschoolin,
Here is the pics of the sled. This is what I know about the sled: it has a comet clutch, woody studs in the track, uni filters on the carbs, and runs. The guy paid $1200.00 for it last year, but he messed with the carbs and got it running crappy. When I close the throttle you can hear the slides hit at different times, so I know it needs some carb work. I started it today and it smoked pretty good from setting for a year, but it should clear up quickly after riding. It definitely needs a new hood and windshield, a garage colapsed on his and two other sleds. This sled is a 1987 Polaris 600 triple. He also said it engages at 4500 rpm due to the performance clutch. Anyways here's the pics.

WOW! That's a lot of pics. Sorry man but I just bought another truck last night. My old one has been pissing me off and I finialy got the owner of this one to break down and get rid of it. I've been guning for it sense May. Sorry but I'll have to pass on the sled for now. Thanks for the pics and good luck. I was going to put a 600 triple together last year and ebay was a hot spot for parts for those sleds, maybe you can part it out make out well on there.

LOL John! I know my wife is sick of looking at it, so anyone who is looking for a parts sled or one to put about 300-400 into to make nice again. This is the sled for you. I have 2 packs of venison steaks, 2 or 3 roasts, and I think 5 or 6 packs of hot italian venison sausage if you want it John..oh, and some salmon. The meat will be a year old at the end of november. I usually get rid of it after a year, but some people keep it longer. I ate some last week, so I know it is good still. The meats yours reguardless of what happens to the sled John.

I bet thats a fast sled. I know a guy with an Arctit Cat 600 triple, he said he can take 700 Ski-Doo's. He also says the triples have a lot of torque, but suck the gas.

probbly in the late p.m. if that would work for you. gotta do diving mid-morning that day ( as normal ).
you must be working saturdays or i am sure you would just take the sled over to white star auctions ???

I put the sled on ebay and its up to $300 within a day. Hope it goes for $500 or more. The more I get, the quicker I can build the R motor.
