I have been digging thru the parts I have and came across this fender brace I was curious what it fits. I got it along with a lot of other parts in a large lot. I know its not a 86/87 200x, 350x or early 250r. I have never owned a tecate but there was a few tecate parts in this lot. Does the tecate use a wire brace ? I would guess it fits a 85/86 250r but unsure.

It really looks like a 300ex 250x rear fender brace to me.I used to have one.

I just remember that big offset to one side and that was used to clear the pipe.And also I notice that one end is Staggered from the other side.The fender mounts were staggered like that on the 300ex and 250x.
Just a guess though.

I'm thinking it's a fender support bracket for the old style Honda 110 3 wheelers.
I know I have seen a few of them over the years and I think I have one of then.
Edited: I have a 85 250sx ( for sale soon ) and the bracket / wire on it is completely different.

Well I think I finally figured it out. I'm pretty sure it's a 2 smoker 250r brace. Looks very simular to a 85 style. Here is a picture of one:

That would be a shirt hanger...that someone un-tied. You probably locked your keys in your car, and used the coat hanger to unlock the car though the window. Then you just threw the coat hanger in the shop.... Years later....you are wondering what fender brace it is.
