    oil.

    just wondering what the best oil to run in a 1986 honda 250sx? i run citgo 10w 30, is that ok? i am a diesel mechanic not a gasoline engine man.

    10w 30/10w 40 is ok, if the oil you are using is doing ok with the clutch, IE theres no slip when you've eliminated other causes of slip then you'll be ok, keep it as it is, also Go buy a Cylmer or haynes manual, they tell you everything you need to know.

    i run 15 40 all around cause it is great for the long summer rides. 10 30 should be ok, but i wouldn't go under that.

    well, the guy i bought the trike off of was the only owner, he bought it new in 86, and he said 10w 30 is the only oil that has ever been run in it.
