    Tri-Z electrical assembly help

Okay, you've all been a help thus far, and things are coming together! It's time to hook up the electrical, and I'm a fish out of water. I have the manual, and have not sat down to study it yet, but that's my first step today or tomorrow. Any helpfull suggestions, advice, hints, things to watch out for? Seems like when I tore this down last Fall, there was a ground to the bare frame. Does that sound right? If so, I will need solid advice before I start grinding this paint off!

Chris shared some photos with me when he tore his down that helped me get an idea of some wire routing, but there's still a bit more that I don't know for sure. The manual just doesn't seem real clear to me, unless you are looking at an assembled bike when you are reading it!

Family is busting my chops to be running by the weekend, or I get left behind!

the ground goes under the rear bolt for the coil inbetween the coil and the frame, grind that bare to get the best contact.

I can get some pics of my Mx bike,as it's sitting with no plastic on it right now..just let me know what areas you are unshure about.

the first pic Im pointing to the orange wire thats your coil lead wire,,the second one is where I soderd the tether switch in to the harness right behind the orange connection,, the ground for the tether went right to where the harness grounds at the coil. pretty simple just make shure you got the same colors matched at the connections, the last pic the two wires that are not connected are for the over heat light, and the thermostat sensor wire was just zip tied up to the harness,,that red wire in the last pic is for my LED lights so dont get confused chris when you dont see that wire on your harness

sorry to bust in, but I like the color of that frame, do you have white or blue plastics? That blue with white would be sweet

Sweeeet! Thanks for the help, and I should be able to start hooking things up very soon. Don't be suprised if there's more questions to come.

Is there a tip jar where we show our thanks?
