My neighbor has a 83 or 84 200x that was given to him but it needs some work.
he wants to know can the plastic from an 86 fit with no modifications. he wants
a peppy motor i was thinking a fresh top end maybe high comp! cam exhaust and jetkit. but i can't find a jetkit any help would be appreciated!

I just bought a carb that works great and you can get whatever jet you need I will try and find that info for you

Don't go High compression on this motor unless you can easily get race fuel

ok jetting depends on what kinda exhaust and other mods are done to the engine. you dont need race fuel to run 10.5:1 or even 12:1 . i run 12:1 piston and rings and i use 93 octain fuel.
slap a 28mm xr200r carb on there, after market exhaust, cam, some port and valve work and then it will be danm peppy. you may need to gear it too.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.
