I wonder how the heck they kept the front wheels down. I didn't see any rigged wieghts up front anywhere?

keeping the front end down depends all on where the pulling point is on the hitch if they arent using front weights. If the pulling point is below the center of the axle then you wont have any problems with the front end coming up but you'll have the most traction the higher the pulling point is. you kind of have to find a happy medium. Also, you want the pulling point on your trike as far forward as possible so you are taking weight off the front of the sled and putting that weight on the back tires for more traction. (I do a small amount of antique tractor pulling and its basically the same concept)

oh and they also could be using wheelie bars, but they are best used as a safety feature because when they hit the ground part of the trikes weight is going onto the wheelie bar instead of the rear tires for traction.

If it was the husband/wife pulling, they live about 10 minutes from me. They are sponsored by easyrider Has anyone seen the easyrider monster truck? They have a bunch of Honda trikes they use for chassis parts for those builds, usually 200x parts. I had a harley fixed by them and got to talking trikes and he showed me his stash and his pullers. I told him I was looking for 250r's and he said he had just sold a 200r a couple weeks earlyer. I tried to track it down but he never got the buyers name. Said he sold it for $500 running. I assumed it was just another 200x but I still keep looking for it.

These are good people, will do anything they can to help someone out especially if you ride. They fixed that harley for me for free since they knew we were doing it for my uncle who was sick. He also knew my uncle and used to ride with him.

Hey X.system. The names of the racers are on the bottom of the 3rd pic I posted. I'd like to see one of those up close. Looks like alot of time and money go into one of these. Invite them to the boards so they can share some pics. LOL

srry for the slight threadjack but, My pap and uncles used to pull on cub cadet lawn mowers that were in the super stock class I believe. anyhoo has anyone seen a cooling system on those stock aircooled ones(most i think) well my uncles pap and good friend Mike Hunter invented them and are now widely used. I'm going to get in contact with him to see about getting some performance stuff done to my trike. hehe
