    70 axle bearing help please!

Need some advice on changing bearings on my 70. I've got it down to the bare axle and the brake drum. What's the next step to get the axle out? I figure the brake drum has to come off; just not sure how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if you got the axle nuts off you just have to slid the drum off the splines....but it might be rusted on so a torch might be handy

Take the wheels off and then the big collars that slide over the axle. Everything just comes off after that. When I did mine not long ago I didn't realize those collars weren't part of the axle so I was stumped for a minute too.

Thanks, guys. The drum does look to be rusted on. I had heated it up with the torch, so it may be time to bust out the air . Does the axle come out to the left, or either side?

Either side once you get the sprocket and brake drum removed.
