what kind of amperage should I get when I test the hot wire to my ignition coil?
My test light shows there is juice getting to the coil but there is no spark- even when i put a new coil on- so i am thinking the juice from the stator is weak.

batt voltage.use a multi meter to see how many volts you gots.i quess your bike
uses points?check them.if not i hope it aint your cdi.ouch

Most likely your points are dirty or have gone bad. To get to them you have to pull the flywheel.
