    Tecate Rebuild / KX500 SWAP

Began tearing down my T3 this afternoon, got it down to a roller. Have some nice new parts waiting to go on and some that haven't arrived yet. Here are the before pics.

More pics. Check out how exposed the engine is through the cradle. Going to fix this before I ruin my cases. Anyway thats all for now, I'll post more pics as I go.

Going to lighten is as much as I can, the suspension needs a rebuild and to be setup for MX/freeriding, fresh paint, new crank/rings and some other small stuff that you'll see as I go along.

I'm going to make a permanent one and weld it in there. Nothing thats going to get bashed to smitherines but it will keep the odd rock from making contact with my cases and help me glide over some obstacles.

I don't have an airbox, and it sounds like I've made the right decision to just clamp on a Uni 2-stage.

It looks and sounds like a pain to remove/replace.
