I am trying to get a grab bar for my 84 200x, ebay has them for 86 and up and one store that does have one it's 70.00. Anybody got some ideas, thinkin of makin one. any info would be cool. also as an add-on i am runnin 20-50w oil. manuel says its ok but with a new piston and rings, is it a good idea.

i have a home made one it is welded rite to the frame,it's the best brap bar i have ever had.

If it's welded to the frame and gets a hard blow, you now have a junk frame. Homemade grab bars are just fine... But, make sure it is a bolt on assembley.
