4 Wheels? Huh?
ok i went riding yesterday and out of nowhere my trike started making a ping yet tap sound. i put my ear up to it and it seems to be coming from the bottom end but im not sure. i adjusted the valves and tightened the cam chain and still get the sound. it shifts fine and has allot of nuts but that noise is driving me nuts. im lost guys please help me out. ive bin trying to figure it out for almost 3 whole days and i will be looking at it tommarow too.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

Usually bottom end will have a knocking sound if crank is going out.
Could be centrifugal clutch making the noise.

i will check the clutch then. i know its not the crank. i had the engine all the way apart last month and it was all real tight (no movement at all) so it very well could be the clutch. lol and yes it has oil in it.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.
