That looks like an old CT racing pipe. I have one that I got from Blazerone22 a while back, here's a pic.

Awesome! Thank you....yep, they both have 5 sections at the bend for the expansion chamber!!!!

So how "good" are the CT's?
like where do they stand in performance compared to the others?

oh and how had are they to come by?

you might PM Blazerone22, he's the one I got it from. He may have had it on a trike. He is known to build a bike, ride it a couple times and then either sell it or part it out.

that CT looks like a match.

i bet these was lots of pipes made back in the early 80's for these things.maybe small shops nobody remembers even or hardly ever herd of.

i got a pipe that is half stock 250r and half costom made with welded up sections that look like that CT does.who ever made it knew what they were doing it looks profesional. i have never ran this pipe.

I have a DG also i used to run it, i think it is like a stock pipe.

i have seen a indipendant dyno graph of pipes and the FMF fatty has just about exactly the same power curve as a paul turner pipe, i would rather have a paul turner because every one has a FMF ,and it's chrome not nickle plated.
but i can't justify spending the money for the same pipe,

heck i think if i was doing it over again i would of went with the ESR,

I know this is a air cooled thred and i am talking about a water cooled one, but i am just talking pipes.
