Does anyone know what would cause a 85 250 big red big red to have the netural light to stop working the headlight to stop working and the es to also quit and after that happened you could only go at wide open throttle for about 5min or 10min and it will quit if anyone has any info let me know thanx guys.

I think we need some more info. How long have you had those problems, are you using a battery, how long have you had it?

actually check the neutral and reverse switch connections on the bottom right hand side of the motor ..they are under a small black cover held on by a 10mm bolt
