    Various ATC90 questions

It's a 78 model, trying to cosmetically restore it! Anyway, first of all, are the fenders fiberglass? They're obviously not normal plastic and someone told me they were probably fiberglass...need to know so I can buy the right paint for it. Are the rims 2-piece? I took the 3 bolts out of the rim once it was off the hub, and I'm wondering if it's 2-piece and seized up or what...and finally, what would this bike go for in good all around condition?

yep, their fiberglass, although my 79 110 is plastic. the rim shouldn't be 2 piece, as far as i know, other wise ther would have to be a seal in between the two rims

Are there two sets of bolts inside the rim. On a two piece rim, there are one set of bolts for the hub, and another set to hold the two halves of the rim together. I belive that a 78 ATC90 came with two piece rims origionally. The other way to tell is to check all the text on the side of the tires. Just about all tires say "Only for use on one piece (or two piece) rims" on the sidewall.

plkmonster2, The atc90's all came with 2 piece rims stock. The only ones that didn't was the 70-74 models. Those had the 1 piece tire and rim balloon tires. Your 90 must have aftermarket rims.

    The fenders should be fiberglass.

The resale value on the 90's can varry. The 1970 thru 1974 will bring more than the later models in the same condition.

Restored it should be worth between $600 and $1300.

    Thanks

i dont think it is aftermarket. I have silver 79 110 rims and they are 2 piece, they have 6 bolts. my 90 rims are the ones that came with it. they only have 3 bolts. they are white, and i have no clue on the year of the 90. i will try to post a pic soon. the frame # on the frame is atc90-1306753

If the rims on your 90 are on piece and white, they are not the stock rims.

iF It's a 74 it came with a 1 piece balloon tire and rim combo. The tire size will be 22x11x3.5
If the rims are 8" rims and are 1 piece they are not stock. No atc90 had 1 piece 8" rims from the factory.
