    tri-z shifting

Maybe a dumb question for some, but here goes: Geting the parts back from the machine shop finally and was wondering... on the tri-z, you use the clutch to take off from a stop, but, do you need to use it when shifting between all gears? Or can you shift it without using the clutch? I don't wanna screw anything up when I go to ride it

You can shift up and down through the gears w/o the clutch..its called powershifting. Its not the greatest for the tranny, but thats how alot of racers shift..no clutch. If you are just putting around...use the clutch.

I shift for the start, then rev match through the gears. It takes to long to grab that lever!!!

thanks guys thought that'd be alot of work for those racers to keep squeezing the clutch that fast but i wanted to make sure that there wasn't something wrong with the clutch since i was able to shift without using it
