    350x shock linkage question

    Hey

On my 85 350x, I am confused about how part # 3 works. Does the shock pivot on that point? Or is that stationary on the swinger and just lowers the shock mounting point?

I am trying to place part # 21 and I cant get it out for the life of me. My concern is that the swinger wasnt pivoting in that place, but now im not too sure that it does.

Refer to this page for the part numbers

please let me know so I can stop destroying the bushing or keep on destroying it to get it out.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Leave it be and just lube it up really well. its movement is minimal if at all.
