    More Advice Needed-YT60 Trizinger-Boyesen/DG

I finally dropped the motor in my son's trizinger to get to the intake to put in Boyesen Power Reeds. The stock metal reeds didn't look bad but I still installed the power reeds.
While I had the motor out I sprayed a can of carb cleaner and a can of seafoam in the stock exhaust muffler and let it sit overnight then drained it then let it sun dry for a few days to see if it would break up some of the soot. I wanted to try the stock pipe, even though it's drilled and I took the baffle out because of how loud the DG pipe is.
I have a clamp on air filter right on the carb, I dropped the main jet down to 90 from 95 since it was running so rich. I put the main needle clip at the very top of the needle to lean it out too.
Now it has gained some of its low end power back. Not 100% but decent. Problem is it REALLY SMOKES. I am using the auto injector and put what 2 cycle oil I had laying around in it, which was for a chainsaw.

Now before I go and put the DG back on (I haven't ran the trike w/DG and new Boyesen Reeds yet), do you guys think that most of the heavy smoke is from the stock exhaust, or from the cheapo oil? Maybe it's burning a lot of the loosened up carbon??? It's running rich but it never smoked this much.

My neighbor gave me a little Amsoil to try so I will be dumping out the cheap stuff and try that.

    What do you guys think.

Swap the Old 2 stroke oil out for the AMSOIL !

SeaFoam Clean's Carbon Exhaust out when it HOT Burning hot ( Might be why it's Smoking more )

After All it is a 2 Stroke !

You probably are burning carbon deposits of the top of the piston let alone cooking out the stock pipe. Not sure what your oil injector is set for, you would have to check the operation against the shop manual how to set it for proper 2 stroke oil metering. I never trust the old oil pumps, that's why I usually premix. I guess too much 2 stroke oil is better than too little, it will just knock down your performance.

The zinger has been sitting for about a day and a half since it was run as posted above.
I fired it up and let it idle a bit and it was barely smoking. So I sat on it and put it in start and was stabbing the throttle (i'm too damn big to ride it; don't want to break something) and the throttle response was excellent (boyesen??) and the front end was coming up on me. While doing this it was smoking normally.
I pulled the plug and it was covered in black dry carbon (I didn't pull it after it was ran in the first post). I cleaned it up and after my son rides it again I'll check it again, as I definitely don't want a false reading and end up running it too lean. I'm thinking the plug was covered because of the seafoam burning off the carbon.
