Start of the breakdown...
Things to come...
-new exhaust (DG for now, until I fab a cr230 exhaust to fit)
-motor and carb work
-stock 400ex Ohtsu rears, and new front (havent decided yet)
-bars,grips, different levers
-seat from Mosh
-PAINT!!!!!

Yeah its about as clean as its going to get for a trike that wast in a storage barn and has been ridden... I should have the tank repainted by next week, the rust was from someones knee rubbing it I guess (clean on the inside). The fun part about this one is that the motor has NEVER seen a wrench... My last 200x I think someone used a pipe wrench on every bolt they touched

Nice, the 86/87 X's are far superior to the 85 and under models. Not too mention that they look and feel much better too!!

I dont know what the exhaust is off of, Im guessing some sort of streetbike... I definitely agree with you dirtcrasher, they are a BIG improvement over the previous x's, just a pain to find parts for.
