    Tecate compression

I just did a compression test on my 84 T-3, The motor was cold and I had it at WOT. I had 155 PSI. The book says it should have 8.3:1. Motor is getting up there in hours and could use a piston and rings soon, but before I tear it apart I want to know if the motor really needs it. Besides the guy I bought my top end kit from is being really slow (almost a month now) in shipping it to me.

155 psi is about right. A 8.0:1 ratio should have from 125-152 PSI.
