Anyone running these rear GNCC Holeshots ?

How do you like them ? I'm interested in the 21X11X9's.

I like the fact that they are smack in the middle of the 20/22 tire diameter spectrum and the wider spaced knobs for better self cleaning.

    From ITP website .........

"The rear GNCC is also lighter and very easy to sling around in the woods. The taller lugs give it so much more traction-it really hooks up, with a lot of grip and less wheelspin under power. But you can slide it around when you need to, with less bounce in rough corners. Overall these tires are very stable at higher speeds, but they also work really good in the slower ruts, rocks and braking bumps. They just don't jerk you around as much, which really reduces fatigue. They wear very well, and I've bashed them into a big rocks and stumps repeatedly and they hold up great."

    Front: 21x7-10, 22x7-10 (6-ply); Rear: 20x10-9, 21x11-9 (6-ply).
6-ply tough yet light in weight. 2 pounds lighter than Holeshot XC model, 2 pounds lighter than the Razr.
Lower in profile, narrower and lighter than our XC/XCT models.
Special angled shoulder knob design provides increased side bite for faster, more controllable cornering.
Bright hot patch logo on sidewall. "

You just using them for motocross and if not you want a small 18 incher?

I can't get used to how they look, running small tires like that it start to looks goofy towards the front, you don't think so?

    10,20 30 .........so what, who cares !

I have serious questions to ask, except for the arm chair

You seem to be quite the tire expert, so all 5 or 6 of the other styles are no good?

What, did you test everyone of them? All that R&D time they did for nothing, maybe you should work at ITP so they don't waste any more valuble time ?

If anything, you could hop up and modify their arm chairs, install some holeshots SX'ers all the way around, since of course those are the only good ones they make.

yes in fact I have used everyone of those tires you have posted before, not only on my macines but on my freinds machines as well, the honest truth is I cant get away from fast trackers, they seem to offer the best all around performance of any tire, the holeshot gncc/sxers clean better but spin more regular holeshots/shredders/razzrs spin more than I want them to and dont really care for them, r&d time??lol, every manufacturer wants you to buy there tire do you think they would say " our tire offer supreme suckedness in all conditions you will hate it more than a gay stepfather" I dont think so, also if your a racer and a tire company says HEY we'll give you tires for a whole season if you plug our tires, what would you say NO?? ok... you would run the most god afull tire out there if you got them for free and you were racing, even maybe 's?? bauahhahahahaha

Performance on what type of terrian? Your not being fair I think? Your talking, it seems to me, under racing conditions and flat out which ones absolutely perform the best FOR YOU.

I want one just for trail riding, I don't care if it does not slide, spin quite as good as the others. It does not mean a tire is worthless just because it doesn't perform to your standards, know what I mean?

I'm after durability more then anything and like tread that is spaced farther apart. The ones you like, I'm sure their fantastic, FOR YOU.

Diameter of the tire is very important too and I won't go under a 21.

My apologies though for not describing what I will be using them for. Like said, mostly trail riding in PA on loose-hardpacked soil with a fair share of rocks depending where in PA I am.

trails here from muddy swampy conditions with ruts to pure sugar sand and hard pack clay as well... I like a tire to work well all around not jsut in one area, the last set of shredders I had on my 83 I got rid of I didnt like the way they worked in any terrein I had my old fast trackers wich came off my 85 and put them on. I ride on all kinds of terrein not just fast either I think though even for trail riding you need to stay with a 20 inch tall tire

If your just trail riding and not all out racing then any aggressive tread tire like a holeshot/razr/trekker will suit your needs just fine. I do recall someone running the tires you posted on a 350X and being very pleased with them.

Yes, I am very pleased with them. I like the way they look, their not your run of the mill holeshot.

These have mostly seen dirt and sand, not to much mudd. Their really good in the trails.

    Thanks Eric.

What size are they? 21X11x9's (they look to be) ?

If so, with it inflated to proper specs, can you measure the diameter and see if it TRUELY is 21 inches ?

That measurement varies a great deal sometimes and if anything I hope the 21" runs on the large size or IS TRUELY at least 21".

Is the width a true 11" also ?

That's what (one of the things) I like about them too, not your average holeshot that 100's of guys run.

They look great on there !!

I didn`t like the regular holeshots on my q-sport it got stuck alot on that ride last week. But worked great on the race track they had there. Did the same trail with the dx on scorpians and they were pretty good except in the real deep mud. I `m watching this post to see what to get for the q-sport next

The hidth is 20.5" I wont have my hands on a digi tire gauge till later tonight. I like the preasure its at now, but Im not sure where they are.

The width is dead on to 11"

If you think about it, you only loose a .25" with the ofset from 21.

    Hope this helps.
