    new member Italian trike

Hello my name is Ron I'm 1upfronts dad. Hopefully I will be able to add some positive input to this forum. I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to join. I started reading some of the threads after 1up, Hartley, joined and became more and more interested. I am responsible for my sons involvement and interest in threewheelers motorcycles and dragracing.
We have a blast racing his R. I am the photographer and coach at the races. I have never owned a threewheeler but I recently found this trike. It's an Italian machine. It is probably more my speed than the Rs 1up owns.
He took me for a ride on his 250R before he started racing it, I thought I was going to pull him off of the back when he took off. It just got worse from there. I had to check my shorts afterwards.
I may try out the 125R after it is finished.
    Here is my trike.

Do you think it's worth screwing with or should I send it to the crusher.

Welcome to the board It's all up toyour imagination. If you do something with that, you very well could be the only one on the board that has one of those unique machines. If you have the time, give it a go.

Heck no! If possible, fix it up, if you can get parts for it?

Is that a cooler in the back ? You could be the refreshment guy at Trikefest with that thing!

Is it a 50CC or what? What brand is it?

Does the motor have compression? 2 stroke or 4 ?

Welcome to the board, and if i had to place a bet i'd say with the other vintage tin around you're not a 'send it to crusher' kind of guy. Keep us posted on what you decide to buy after you see all of the options out there. Joining the site is the first step to restoring something with 3 wheels...

Yes it is a cooler of sorts on the back. It had a 50cc 2 stroke on it. It is a moto minerelli I believe. I could be a beer vendor I guess. Maybe the ice cream man.

I think that would be a neat old ride. You could save a lot of gas driving it to work.
