Alright, well I am about to purchase a 1988 TRX250R petcock. What I need to know is, will this petcock work on the 1985/6 ATC250R petrol tank? They both look the same mounting wise. Anybody know? I need to know pretty quickly. Thanks.

The on/off switch is remote on the TRX petcock, and does't fit the same piece that goes in the tank.

See how the on/off switch has hoses running to it, and its not connected to the piece that goes in the tank?

yeah i see that but couldn't you possibly buy that whole assembly and put it on there?
