Brake pads, and chains...which ones to use?

Since I will soon be coming to a close on my 250R, I need some opinions on brake pads.
I have CR calipers, front and rear, and picked up a set of EBC sintered.
I still need one set yet.
Just wondering what works well for aggressive trail, and some flat track/ice-racing use.
    Like say, organic, sintered, kevlar......etc.
I'm thinking the sintered for the rear possibly.
    How about the front?
I'm also concerned with pad type, and rotor wear, as my stock rotors are both in great shape yet, and I know certain pads wear certain types of rotors.
As far as the chain, it's been a while for me.
I know what's good on my streetbikes, but I'm not sure what would work out well for my R. What's a good chain to run?
