Oil cooler 250x/350x

Any ideas on mounting the 350x oil cooler on a 250x frame? any pics would be great.

Maybe mount it like where you'd mount a radiator on a Blaster/YZ250 conversion, right in front of the header pipe. And maybe a heat shield between the two. Basically mount it right on the front supports, behind the a-arms.

I did mine about a year ago. Its no longer mine but my cousin has it now. took a pic of it today here is were i mounted mine used the stock oil cooler lines from 350x.

how did you mount it to the engine? does the 350x oil filter cover fit right on?

been wanting to add one to my 250x for a long time!

That 250x has a 350x motor in it so tryin to mount it on the 250x motor your on your own. topend my the 250x engine i have here is trashed so put the 350 in it.

someone, I think dennis kirk,or powroll makes a cooler kit for the 300ex,250x.There are boss mounts on the clucth covers on the 250 and 300ex to drill and add fittings to run a external cooler.I just cant remember who stocks the kits.

this is my 350rx but i use this style of cooler on the 250x frames when i use 350 motors.

these coolers cool better and mount easy.

this is off a street bike but its about the same as a 400ex or 450r cooler.

i just bend 3/8 steel line and weld on the right ends for the motor and the cooler ( you must be good with a mig to do this), but you could use rubber line.

yes i remeber seeing those in old dennis kirk. don't remeber seeing them in the new cataloges, but i wasn't looking for it either!

i didn't know he had a 350x engine in that frame. i thought 350x parts would fit on, so was gonna look for a used oil cooler from one. thought i could save a few bucks!

350x parts wont fit on a 250x...i was just showing him another kind of cooler to use

SWIGIN where did you get that header? And do you know if it will clear the 250x frame?

i made it....and yes it will with my 250x frame mod (check my post)
