Hey rider, I remember when you were giving me tips on my 110. I finaly got that thing running good. If your blowing fuel from the fuel intake than its either valves or timing so double check that. My problem ended up being the intake valve needed adjusting just a little. Im gonna be restoring an 89 Cr125R soon, thanks god for 2 strokes. even if it is a wheel short of my liking lol. Hope you get it going man.![]()
My 110 started spitting fuel out the carb when I bent the intake valve, so ... you're not seating your intake.
I'm back in the USSR...
ok time for a valve job
I thought you just did the valves though...

nope....i adjusted them
Looks like this is a money pit.

Sounds like ignition / timing issue.... new ignition coil? source coil? or timing adjustments....
Its worth it in the end though hehe, I found all the parts i need to cosmeticly restore the 125r and cosmetics alone excluding painting the frame is going to run me $605 lucky for me orders over $100 get free shipping. I sure hope i like this thing or its going up for sale or trades for an R.![]()
you might want to check that the flywheel key hasent sheared
off, you will need a flywheel puller though the technical term is woodruff key, it holds the flywheel in place on crankshaft.
I have had that happen to me working on a customers trx 200
at work, also just about what everyone else has said on this thread, check, recheck, and check again the valve lash and go with Hondas spec.also check cam timing, use the manual, from what youve said the compression is perfect,if valve lash is too tight it wont run If valve lash is correct int.and exh.cam timing is correct, you have fire and fuel, then you either have a bent valve or carboned up valve or worst of all your flywheel key has sheared off that makes the timing off and could bend a valve too .Also be careful about putting gas in through the plug hole too much gas in combustion chamber will hydrolock
engine it will bend valves it will even bend or break connecting rod not a good thing to do I dont want to sound like a know it all but I am a Honda and yamaha certified tech
and work at a Honda Yamaha Kawasaki dealership.
