the metal plate that goes in the water pump on my 86 250r has a hole in it can i still run it or should i get a new one? where can i get a new at? heres some pics......

i wouldnt run it like that. but i dont have l/c trike either lol. but anytime there is a hole where there shouldnt be one is usually a bad thing.

19222-HA2-000 is like $5.50 from Honda. Why even worry about it. However, I don't think what you have there is that big of an issue.

Its just a plate that's used to direct coolant into/from the impeller. I found it on partsfish.com. I got signed up on there because my uncle is a licensed auto dealer and you get better pricing if you have all the dealer credentials. It's nice having access to all this stuff a better rate when I work on some of the crap he drags in and especially my own stuff. I can buy that same part for $4.03. I used to do orders on the boards here waaaaay back when. It's kind of a pain though because it takes them like two weeks to get stuff me and then I have to resend it.
