    anyone done a motor swap on 110 trike

    i need help i have a 110 and need a new motor im looking at the lifan 125 and 138 ive worked with them before. do u think i would have problems with a kick start and clearane issues has anyone ever stuffed a big motor into a small frame? i have skills and money just looking for a direction drop me a line thanks

    I've heard the Lifan 125 and 138 had backwards kickers that interfered with ATC 70 fenders. Don't know about 110 fenders, but you might have to cut a chunk out of em, so you might as well "race-cut" your fenders too.

    Be aware that the increased performance might cause you back injury because you'll be haulin' ass all over the place with a manual clutched 138.

    I was wondering about this swap too, I asked a month or so back and noone had any idea. What I did learn from reading is they are based on atc 70 type bottom end, so it would take some mods to make it bolt up....I finally pieced a motor together for my 90 so im good to go till this one takes a crap

    All you'd need are some washers, the ATC 70 bottom end is has slightly skinnier (3.8 instead of 4 inches wide) engine mount loops. The bolt holes line up perfectly though.
