    to the boards!

Dont know enough about 200x's, all I could suggest would be:

    -decent exhaust
    -bigger carb
    -open air box

Good luck, and lets see some !!!!!

also get some 10.25:1 piston. you can do allot to juice em up. but it will but you in the poor house if you do it all at once.

High comp piston, cam (megacycle, webcam), nice exhaust (supertrapp) so on and so fourth. There are other guys that can elaborate. Just some starters. Post some pics man. Welcome to the boards. This is the best place on gods green earth for 3wheeler info and insight.

ooooo yea dont for get the stroker kit, port and polish, bore it out, it goes on and on. but start easy like the bigger carb, open air box and exhaust will be the best to go with first.

Enough to make a guy on a 350X cry and a 250R worry and a LTR450R go "holy crap". LOL

The 85 200X will always be my favorite 4 stroke Honda trike.

There is a huge aftermarket for it with alot of potential.

yeah, it nearly the same motor as all but 2 years xr200 motors are(tranny and kicker being different). There is alot more available parts for it than the 86/87 200x's. I think 84 and 85 xr200r's had dual carbs and a different motor. The aftermarket can make xr200 and 200x motor scream, Tc, sparks and powroll had some really fast ones. Enough to scare the competition.
