is this a good bike, im have been forced to get a quad instead of a trike and the best i could find was a bayou 300 for 500 dollars. how fast can this quad go and is it a good trail bike, i just want to know if i should trade my bigred for it

Yeah I'd highly agree with team-red-rider on this one (strangely enough). I think if you've spent any time on your Big Red you'll be disappointed in a 300, especially a mild one like the Kawi Bayou. 500 bucks for a used small-bore quad sounds kinda high.
I'm back in the USSR...
My family bought a 300Bayou the year they came out. traded it not too long afterwards. Not a great bike. Tie rods were worn out ofer 6 months and $75/ each and not warranty. Got stuck in about 4 mm of puddle too. And oh yeah it's top end was maybe 40mph on a good day.
