Will 86 200X Rear fenders fit an 84 model?

Will they fit? Even with a little persuasion.
What about any other rear fenders?
Like I'm aware the 86 250R front fender will fit the 84 200X, any other models rears fit the 200X?
What about an 81-82 250R front fender fitting the 84 200X?

I'm pretty sure my 85 X had earlier fenders on it, but i didn't do the work on that one...

Reason I ask is I noticed the 86-87 200X fenders look alot more sporty than the 83-85 model. and the 250R fenders are more sporty as well.

We put mine on my friends 84 200x and they didnt lign up or look good at all on this. They might work with some cutting and drilling but they dont look that good IMO.

Thanks for the info. I have noticed the 86 fenders have a different line from the bottom of the tank back. Its cut different than the 84.

Thanks for the pics! Yeah, looking at the line from the tank, those are the 83-85 fenders.
