    85/86 brakes on 83 250r?

    Just wondering if the 85/86 rear brake caliper will fit/work on my 83 250r. I'm going to West Virginia for a long trail ride in a couple weeks and I want to get my brakes working properly.... I haven't been on here in a while but I still got the R and just got my cylinder back from a friend who did way more than I expected. I just asked him to hone it out, which he did but he also glass beaded the cylinder and painted it.... Opened up the ports a bit more and polished the head. I'll get some pictures later. It's gonna be sweet!

    great man! no the caliper is not a direct bolt on mod, but can be made to work with some creative cutting/welding/drillin though.

    Well that sucks... Is there one from a quad or any other trike that will fit with little to no mods? If not, I guess ill just have to find me an 83 one on ebay or something....
