    starting to fully restore my 250r

    well shes a bare frame

    i just took the frame out of a hot tank to strip all the paint washed it and wow i found alot of surface rust so i took the wire wheel to it and put the first caot of paint on it

    i also painted my front and rear calipers

    the color scheme is going to be black and yellow

    yellow frame and accessories and black tank and plastics

    well a cool thing i found out my pipe is an old school dg pipe its stamped on the hanger dg perf.

    wonder what else i will find

    Just an observation I've learned in my build. Take your estimated cost figure... double it. Take your estimated time figure.... triple it.

    Thats still a VERY conservative veiw!!!

    how do i take the spring off of the rear shock? do i have to compress it or can i just unscrew the ride hight adjustment bolts ?
