    Polaris Scrambler 250 ATC

    Hi,
I have a guy that wants to trade me a Polaris Scrambler 250 3 wheeler for a Yamaha 225Dx 3 wheeler. I was wondering if a scrambler was any good?

    OPINIONS APPERCIATED!

    Thanks,
    Nathan

Well everyone Ive seen that has one LOVES them. I dont know about regular problems and maintenance, I do know their a little more rare then your Yamaha.

I say if the Polaris is in good shape, go for it!

Oh and I'd be keeping the DX instead of getting that Polaris. Its automatic, heavy, not sporty at all like the DR/DX and parts are hard to come by.

Definately pass. Also resale value will be super low.

Well I would think they make great trail rides and easy going compared to some others but it would not be mine and I would guess any other young'fellas first choice in a machine.

I have the 4 wheeled version of this trike, I have the Cyclone. It is pretty much the same except that mine has 1 more wheel. They are great machines, you will absolutely love the PVT(which is the skidoo type clutch). I have had 2 Polaris cyclone quads and they dont need to much for maintnence. So if the scrambler is in good shape I would go for it, I know if I had a 225DX, I would most likely trade it.
