    89 clutch upgrade kit

This has been talked about in many threads.

I was interested in getting one.

I just got off the phone with serviceHonda today, and there seems to be some sort of mix up. This is the kit.

    pressure plate-22351-HB9-741
    washer-90459-360-000
    bearing-91001-147-006
    pushrod end-22352-KAE-770
    pushrod-22851-HA2-670

Heres the kit number- 89 update kit 06220-HB9-305

I had to call twice, because the first time, the guy was only going to send me the pressure plate.
The second time, I was assured that the whole kit would come. The second person informed me, that if you do not specify the right year, or the guy taking the order does not put in the right year, the kit will come with the pressure plate only.

Sound confusing? Yes I am confused too.

All I can say is make sure you are going to get all the pieces before ordering. When the kit comes, I will let you know if I got the whole kit.

I also ordered a clutch lever. Like $30. Kit was $55

I may be wrong, but if you got the whole kit I thought mine cost about 80$. I'm sure I have the receipt somewhere...

It should cost around $50-$60 at most places and include the bearing, washer, push rod, actuator and pressure plate

See this is where the confusion is.

That's what all the parts individually cost. The kit is listed for $55. from service Honda.

I found the kit on ebay for $69.

That is why I called twice to see what was going on. There is confusion when the people look it up on the computer at service Honda, so just make sure they are looking up the right thing for the right price.

Well I received my parts from service Honda, and I got all the pieces.
I also ordered a new lever arm, and an e-z pull clutch lever, from cdb motorsports off ebay.

Clutch kit was $55, arm was $24, and clutch lever was like $18 plus shipping on everything.

Clutch should be nice after I install all these parts.
