Yes they were called prairies. We had one back in 1983. It was red. It is basically a KLT 250 with racks. Kind of like a BIG RED. It has a manual clutch and some funky leading link front spring suspension. Oh yeah, ours had a chrome speedometer from the factory and a differential rear-end like a car. Not a sport machine by any means!

That was one of the first three 3 wheelers I ever rode on....my friends family had two of them but theirs were both black.
Wikipedia "All Terrain Vehicle" Definition excerpt
Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

I can't believe they actually mention "six-pack" in the advertisement. Ahh, back in the day where you wouldn't get sued for mentioning alcohol in your ATV ads...

I guess that's where Polaris stole their "Turf mode" differential from huh.
    I'm back in the USSR...

Yup the pic up top looks just like mine. I am thinking about selling it if anyone is interested. I want it to go to a trike guy and not some dumb ass kid.
