200E had electric start I believe. 200S had suspension front forks. 200M was.... i dunno.

The 200S had 22x11-8 tires and chain drive no electric start or racks. The 200M had 25x12-9 tires electric start chain drive and no racks. The 200E had 25x12-9 tires shaft drive ,reverse ,hi / low range and racks. Hope this helps

The standard ATC200 was the base model, it had 25" tires, and the later model had suspension front. It was just pull start.
The 200M has electric start, but no Hi-Lo range. It also had a suspension front end and I believe racks were standard. (someone correct me if Im wrong) It had 25" tires and was very similar to a Big Red (200E).
The 200E (Big Red) had 25" tires, Hi-Lo range, electric and pull start, racks, a hitch, and the internals of the front forks were different. It also had a bigger capacity tank and freatured a keyed ignition. It included a power port for the use of a spotlight. Later models (200es) were shaft driven and had reverse, and the 1985 up models (250es) had kick start, removable headlight, flip rear fenders, rear suspension, and a larger motor. I think the type of plastic used was changed also.
The ATC 200s was the smaller of the 200 line. It was very similar to the 185 in size, had 22" tires, front suspension, and the motor shifted up instead of down. It also had the gearing of the 185, making it a small but very quick trike. Like the ATC200, it only had pull start and no Hi-Lo range.

e was electric start with a 5 speed dual trans. s had just a 5 speed recoil start, m had electric start with recoil back up and 5 speed trans but unlike the e it didnt have the dual range trans. all of them had front suspension. the plain ole 200 had no front suspension at all and had a 5 speed trans.
thats about it other than other stuff like tire sizes and fenders and so on. 200e was chain driven like the m and s
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

Has anyone ever seen a 200M with a front rack? I dont believe they have the lower mounting points welded on the forks.
200Ms also have a keyed ignition.

The ATC200 got front suspension in it's last year of production - 1983. In 1981, the ATC200 took the place of the previous model year ATC185 (not S). It is very similar in size as it came with 25" tires. 1981 and 1982 ATC200 did not come with front suspension.

Yeah you guys are right. I was looking at the brochure site last night and it seems like the size/weight are a little bit different on all of them too. I guess I would like a 200M with a rear rack, that would be paradise. But most likely I will never find one and end up buying my friends Grizzly.

Ive seen many 84/85 200M on eBay with rear racks. Just keep an eye out.
Ive been looking for an ok 200s or 185s to take the place of my M on the trails. Id like to do a restore on it someday.
