anyway i dont have a title, dont know who's owned it, no clue if it ever had a title and i got the frame for nothing (but bought parts to build it myself. that it self may cause a problem right? anyone think i even have a shot at getting it registered? i know nothing about this and maybes its best it does sell.

My local ATV shop does my trike register paper work. First thing he does is call Harrisburg and see if it has ever been registered in PA. If it has not been (none of mine have been yet) he submits the paper work - gives me a pink slip and a DCNR plate - and I get a title in the mail in about 6 weeks. Costs $45 per bike - that includes the 2 year DCNR plate. By the way - here in PA I think that DCNR stands for "Don't Care - No Riding"

PA is easy to register your bike in. You can go to:

    http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/forestry...istration.aspx

Look up a dealer or title service near you. If you live in PA, you can get a title very easily. Really, they just want the tax revenue. I would claim a purchase price of $50 since you built the bike and most likely paid sales tax on the parts already.....if you didn't, don't tell us here...

Really though...the sales tax is nothing and you can get a title for your bike. I ride in PA a lot so I have PA tags for my bikes.
