    triz clutch brracket

    well since were talking about clutches i have a problem with the bracket on the case itself... its broken clean off but...there an epoxy THING all over it and the clutch works but....is there way too fix this...can i make a bracket and drill into the case to mount it...thx

    I would think if you could make a bracket, and grind everything flush with the case, then you could drill maybe four holes (for a solid base) and use screws only long enough to go through the case and you would be good. And use loctite or something to make sure the threads are sealed good. That's what I would look into doing myself, but probably going to have to fab something up if you don't want to replace the case

    do you have the metal clip that holds the cable.. it slips in a groove under the prongs that the cable sits between.. I have a motor that has one tab broke off,, I drilled a 1/8 hole and wired it for safety

    I did not drill through the case..I drilled through the square part where the tabs would be on top of the case

    Best thing to do if the stocker is unuseable is to fab up a new bracket that can use the stock outer case bolts and is formed to be where the original cast aluminum bracket was. I did it on my RM125 when it snapped off and it worked perfect.

    the cable is too short for that.. it has to be in the center of the cases
