Real quick jetting question

Ok on my 85 R,

THe main jet is a 145 and pilot 52. It runs great at low and high but was falling on its face in mid. I lowered the needle clip, fell on its face worse. Raised it up above the original spot, to the top groove, and now it runs much better, but it still falls ever so slightly if you hold it in mid range.

HOw can I adjust this with the needle having no more adjustment?

The plug chops on the main were perfect.

You could try a needle with a different taper. Never got much into that myself so I don't know which to recommend.
