Easy Josh! This is a member of .org. He hasn't been on there site since january of this year. I am hoping to contact him in hopes of borrowing the plates to have them made. I have also placed a call to Gary Trautloff, who is the founder of durablue. His secretary said he loves to talk old stuff and especially about his first products. I hope to here from him on the west coast tonight. Wish me luck!

I remember Jeb here on the boards had the biggest collection of aftermarket swingarms i've ever seen! He put up pics of his collection a while back. He would definately know. Might try a p.m. to him?

Just got off the phone with Gary Trautloff. What a complete @ss. Just an arogant prick. Nope no information. I don't remember anything. I don't have any prints. Nothing. No pictures. No old catalogs. Nothing. I can't help you. Made no concious effort what so ever. F*** durablue. I will never deal with them again.

That stinks!! Doesn't surprise me though..... When you need help with 20+ yo parts, you need someone who lived and loved ATC's. Not someone who just wants to make money. Those guys are out there, there me - and you, guys that love these things and would help anyone with anything.

Sorry it didn't go better Jeff, you'll just have to keep searching and I'm sure you'll find out what the real deal is.

Got the arm today in the mail. Original owner states that this is some kind of lowering kit for the Tri-z he included. Still no word from mike from longisland and triztunes on the shock mount. Durablue was a complete joke. Maybe I will just have to wait it out. It does appear to utilize the dogbone and tri-z greasable link with this arm from what I can see. Still trying to figure why the stickers are upside down?

Eric. Most certainly it will become cleaned up. Blasted. Powdercoated. Repro decals. X.systems nylon bushings. Etc. It'll be new again soon. Working on developing the shock mount as we speak!

Consider his side of the conversation...Boss call on hold, it's some guy that wants to talk about a part you made 20 years ago. Remember he just feilded 10 calls from STEEL BROKERS pushing everthing from last years over $ bars to China or Russian made material at fractions of the cost. Oh yeah he's also trying to get home earily for the kids concert too. Ah the call I get every year from some old three wheeled fan that bought some piece off ebay...I can understand the guys side of it....your .02cent question( important and easy to answer as you think) that nets him zero is costing him money/time. I've brokered Steel and believe me feel luckey he took your call. I think your fustrations are from the deal on the swinger...Sure It would have been great if he was able to help out. Did you have all your pics and a link to your build ready to send via email as you were talking to him? My guess you never got past the I'm building a 3wheeler before you lost his interest.
I will wipe this comment out( I don't want to take away from this thread and top build) I just think you need to look at it from a different angle with less harshness.

    There more than 3lbs...

Broker Steel huh... Interesting. I work for the worlds leader in machine tools. Okuma. I deal with every type of material that you can machine under the sun. Even some I can't even talk about. My machines make everything from snap on tools, remington arms guns, caterpillar equipment, john deere, etc. I know what its like to work in the metal industry. Its what I do...

As for the jackoff that owns durablue. He was a complete idiot. He said that they didn't even build them in house they were contracted. As far as customer service goes he was a tool. I am suprised he has stayed in the industry as long as he has. Speaking to the common blue collar guy that was a believer in his product, he was unapproachable. I deal with customers who rely on my CNC machines to deliver hundreds of thousands of dollars in product on a daily basis. If they don't then I have to EXPLAIN...

So yeah I know a thing or two about what he might be dealing with.

Bryan, I moved down here (3hrs from WNY) and took a management position. Yes I have your waterpump seals at home. Let me know when you need em by and we can square up on them. No rush. I have about ten extras!
