Just read on the other page and gas was flowing out of the carb vents? The float height should be 15-17mm. Or perhaps you have a foreign object stuck in the needle valve causing the needle not to seat or the needle itself is bad.

being a snowmobile mechanic (they have fuel pumps)i can tell you that if gas is pouring out your overflows 99% its the needle and seat. either worn or junk in it like 3Razors said. the extra pressure can make a weak seal leak when it wouldnt on a gravity fed carb

wow, just went through this build, unbelievable job. wow you guys have some talent.

i never knew how complicated the tri-z is. no wonder yamaha hates Honda for grabbing a patent on the upper gas tank design.

Sounds like he filled the tank and rode off into the sunset, never to be seen again, except as a occasional blur in the woods..Kinda like Bigfoot..

Four kicks and ten beers ago our japanese fathers brought forth, a new three wheeled demon machine, concieved in insanity and dedicated to those who were all deemed mentally deranged...

After a little work to the carb and removing a piece of what looks to be part of my red plastic fuel funnel from the carb it roared to life last night. Around 10pm a noise that can be described as pure evil came from the garage. It was the culmination of a two plus year build. And yes I did ride it out of the garage and into the moonlight sky with those gigantic lights peering through the darkness. So much light that planes began to seemingly taxi there way into the backyard. This thing is pretty impressive. Can't wait to get a video up. Hopefully soon.
