Check the fuel pump...if it made it to the carb I bet there are frags still in the pump. It has happened to me before back in 87. New Z got a new gas can. Trike ran for a while then nothing.......flippin red shavings in the bowl and a ton in the pump.

I wouldnt go doing that. the extra pressure put on the head could cause cylinder warping.
I mean, doing a fresh bore on a cylinder without a torque plate to torque the head bolts can cause premature top end failure, so surely that kind of added stress to the head cant be good long term.
