questions 1984 200X 10.5:1 piston and high performance cam

i have a 1984 ATC 200X im looking to get a 10.5:1 piston. does anyone know a website where i could get one or does anyone have one for sale around $50-$75 (new, not used with rings, wrist pin and clips). i checked powroll.com but theirs is $200. i was not looking to spend that much. anything i should know or be advised about?

also, i was going to get this high performance cam http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/83-85...spagenameZWD1V (someone please dont buy it). can i just drop it into a stock engine if i dont get the 10.5:1? can i use it with the 10.5:1? what do i have to do to a stock engine to make it work (valve springs?)? what do i have to do with the 10.5:1 to make it work (valve springs?)? anything i should know or be advised about. thanks!

I don't think that is a high performance cam. That is probably just an XR200 cam. I asked that guy once what they are and had no response. If it was a high performance cam it would be costlier than that, no doubt.

Webcam performance cams require heavier valve springs - you are looking at roughly $200 for the cam only. That is their mild cam - not there "balls out" one.

Why not go for the XR200 cam? Technically, compared to the 200x, it is a performance cam!

kinda like a 200x cam is a performance cam in a 200s or 185 engine. get a 10.5:1 piston and rings from either denniskirk.com or rockymountain.com (im sure there is more) and get a xr200 cam. those 2 mods will wake that motor up pretty good. along with a exhaust and bigger carb.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

ill try to get a xr200 cam and 10.5:1 piston for now. later on when i get more money, ill really get into it.
is there some place i can get a XR200 cam new? does honda still make them? are there any aftermarket ones? i checked ebay but all i could find was a used one. i would rather get one new if i could.
also, does anyone know if someone make a 10.5:1 piston for a 84 200X that is .25 over? i checked wiseco, but the closest i seen was a 10.25:1 piston thats .50 over. thanks.

Wait for an XR200 cam to come through on ebay, if that's what you want then you can get one for 20 bucks or less if you are patient. I got one a while back for 15.
