    ATC200es exhaust

    Hey guys
Today i removed my exhaust from my machine. and repainted the head pipe. but i found a small hole in the muffler so i will see if my blacksmith can patch that up. but i wanted to ask if anyone makes replacement mufflers or after market one. i dont want to be loud just a newer one that works correctly.

also could i use my XR200R supertrapp exhaust on it? i know i would need to rejet and whatever. but can it be done?

Most likely cobra makes one. They make one for every other 3 wheeler so I wouldnt doubt them making one for the 200es at all.
1986 200x- old school D.I.D wheels, Gold D.I.D X-Ring Chain, Rad MFG. Carrier, PRM Grab Bar, Pro Circuit T-4 custom, Maier plastics, 85x forks, 18x10.5x8 kenda klaw mxr's on itp steels, the money pit never ends

2004 YFZ450 - CP 12.5:1, cam mod , gibson nerfs, hmf pipe, protaper bars + risers, dg bumper/skids, holeshot gncc's on itps, cycra handguard and more stuff to come.

Yes cobra made one for the 200es ( pretty sure) but from what I heard they are a lot louder than stock.

I have the Cobra on my TRX200, which is the 200ES with an extra front tire, and yes, it's louder than stock.

I think Jardine makes one. And don't even get me started on Cobra...

DON'T BUY A COBRA. Jardine all the way, at least it's an actual "quiet" system, unlike the Cobra "quiet" pipe, which is still super freakin loud.

Well would anyone on this site have a used one laying around? PM me if so. also i think there should be a gasket between the head and pipe. can i use a XR200R gasket? since they are the same top ends? or would OEM honda sites carry the gasket for the ATC?

Used ones are pretty hard to come by in descent shape. They always rusted out on that model. Jardine's are decent - but a little louder than stock. cobra replacements are obnoxious. you may find retrofitting another stock honda OEM muffler to be a good fix and a fun project.

Ok I just put the cobra utility pipe w/spark arrester on my wifes 200es and yes it is louder than stock but only maybe 5 or 6 decibles, still quieter than the cobra quiet series that my neighbor has on his 200m, plus I got the spark arrester. I got mine and his through dennis kirk.com mine was $200 his was $160, anywho just my 2 cents and personal experience.

Also my gasket is shot. do the OEM honda websites carry the gaskets? or can i get something at my local hardware store to make a gasket?? Thanks for the help!

Is the Jardine system an outside the frame pipe? From the picture it kinda looks like it.

BTW, anybody know the outside diameter of the Jardine muffler?

I'm reading this thread with interest. I just bought a 200ES and will be needing exhaust. Chris
